Butler women's soccer senior Aliya Diagne has been named to the All-East Region Third Team by the United Soccer Coaches. This is the eleventh consecutive year at least one Bulldog has been named to an all-region team and the 16th season overall in which Butler has produced a region representative.

Diagne, from Neunkirchen, Germany, has been selected to an all-region team for the third time in her career. She started all 19 matches for the Bulldogs this season as an attacking outside defensive back. In addition to her role in the back line, she tallied ten total shots and produced two assists. Diagne was also recently named to the 2022 All-BIG EAST Second Team and was recognized as Academic All-District® by the College Sports Communicators.
