2023 Spring Schedule

The Butler women's tennis team and head coach Mat Iandolo have finalized their 2023 spring schedule. The Bulldogs will face six in-state opponents and match up with seven BIG EAST foes throughout the season.
 
January
Butler will kick off the season with five matches in January, starting with a Sunday opener at home against Cincinnati on Jan. 15. Following the opener, the Bulldogs take on West Virginia and Indiana in Bloomington, Ind., on Jan. 16. They end the month with two Saturday contests against Notre Dame on Jan. 21 in South Bend and Bowling Green at the Butler Bubble on Jan. 28.
 
February
The Bulldogs are scheduled for another six matches in February, including their first BIG EAST match. They travel to Cleveland to take on Cleveland State Feb. 5 to start the month. Next, they stay in Indianapolis to take on UIndy in a Thursday match on Feb. 16. In a quick turnaround, the Bulldogs feature on Feb. 18 and 19 against UIC and DePaul in Chicago. February concludes against Middle Tennessee at home (Feb. 24) and Purdue in West Lafayette, Ind. (Feb. 25).
 
March
The month of March is packed with eight away matches. They start by competing against another in-state team in Ball State on March 3. The Bulldogs then take a trip to Orlando, Fla. where they will play in a trio of BIG EAST matches with Creighton (March 7), Seton Hall (March 8) and Villanova (March 10). March continues with contests against Miami (Ohio) (March 17) and matches against both IUPUI and Bellarmine on March 24. To conclude the month, Butler travels to take on Saint Louis on Sunday, March 26.
 
April
Butler stays in Indianapolis for most of April, starting against Dayton (April 5). They conclude the regular season with three BIG EAST matches against UConn (April 8), Marquette (April 15), and Xavier (April 16). The BIG EAST Championships are scheduled for April 20-23 in Cayce, S.C.
