Butler Men's Tennis Releases Spring 2023 Schedule

Spring 2023 Schedule

Head Coach Sam Miles and the Bulldog men's tennis team have their spring 2023 schedule set. Butler will host seven of the matches on campus, and the schedule features a total of six in-state and four BIG EAST opponents.
 
January
The team begins their season Jan. 13 and 14 when they travel to Kalamazoo to compete against UIC and Western Michigan. The Bulldogs then stay in Indianapolis for matches at IUPUI and at home against Youngstown State. Butler will play a doubleheader on Jan 28. in Urbana-Champaign against Illinois and Illinois State. To close the month, they match up with Indiana in Bloomington on Jan. 29.
 
February
The Bulldogs are scheduled for seven matches in February. They start with three away contests, starting with Cleveland State and Findlay in a doubleheader on Feb. 4 followed by a match with Ball State on Feb. 10. Butler will then host a doubleheader with Eastern Kentucky and Marian on Feb. 11. February concludes as they travel to Ohio to take on the Dayton Flyers on Feb. 19 and to Missouri for a match with Saint Louis on Feb. 25.
 
March
March begins with the Pacific Coast Men's Double Championship. Butler will travel to La Jolla, Calif. to compete in the 132nd annual running of the doubles tournament. The team stays in California but move to San Diego for their first two BIG EAST match-ups against Villanova and Georgetown on March 7 and 8. Butler hosts DePaul for their third conference matchup on March 25. Other March non-conference matches include Lipscomb and Vanderbilt (March 18), Purdue (March 26), and Northern Kentucky (March 31).
 
April
Butler will conclude its regular season with three contests in April. They match up with Notre Dame on April 2 before they host their final two conference opponents in Xavier and Marquette (April 8 and 15). Following the regular season, Butler will prepare for the start of the BIG EAST championships in Cayce, S.C. on April 20.
