Ball State Beats @ButlerUMTennis in Closely-Contested Match

INDIANAPOLIS –
The Butler men's tennis team fell to Ball State 4-2 in a closely-contested match on Wednesday afternoon at the Bubble.

Four of the six singles matches went to a third set, with the Cardinals taking three of them. Butler's Thomas Brennan picked up a 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(2) win at No. 1 singles, while Michael Dickson won in straight sets (6-2, 6-1) in the No. 4 spot.

Alvaro Huete Vadillo, Patrick Joss and Drew Michael won one set each in their matches, but Huete and Joss fell in three sets while Michael's match concluded in the third set after the match had been clinched.

The Bulldogs will play at Indiana on Sunday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m.
