Final Results

INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler women's tennis team won singles matches at No. 2 and No. 4 in its BIG EAST opener, but DePaul won 5-2 on Friday afternoon at the Bubble.

Delaney Schurhamer picked up her second consecutive victory at No. 2 singles for the Bulldogs with a 6-3, 7-6(5) straight-sets win over DePaul's Lenka Antonijevic.

Norah Balthazor accounted for the other team point with a 6-4, 6-3 triumph at No. 4 singles over Maddie Yergler. It was her fourth win in her last five matches in singles.

The Bulldogs will head up to Western Michigan for a match with the Broncos on Saturday at 1 p.m.
