Scouting Seton Hall
The Pirates have three players scoring in double figures on a nightly basis this season. Lauren Park-Lane, Andra Espinoz-Hunter and Sidney Cooks will all be on the BU scouting report. Park-Lane is a point guard that averages 17.2 points and 6.9 assists per game, leading SHU in each category. Espinoza-Hunter averages 16.5 points per game and is the best 3-point shooter on the roster. Head Coach Anthony Bozzella also added a new wrinkle to the program in the offseason. Sidney Cooks arrived on campus after previous stops at Michigan State and Mississippi State. The 6-4 forward leads the team in made field goals and rebounds (7.5). SHU is currently sixth in the BIG EAST standings with a 9-8 record. The team is 14-11 overall with impressive wins over Marquette (69-57) and Villanova (72-60). They are coming off a tough home loss to Creighton in double-overtime (97-91).

Butler trails Seton Hall in the all-time series 13-5. The Pirates have won the last seven meetings. Butler's last win came just four days into 2019. They won 62-59 at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Last Meeting vs. Seton Hall
Seton Hall held Butler without a field goal for the first 7:12 of the fourth quarter to defeat the Bulldogs 72-56 in Hinkle Fieldhouse. During Butler's fourth-quarter drought, The Hall out-scored the Bulldogs 14-2 to open a significant lead. Five Pirates reached double-figures in scoring, led by Andra Espinoza-Hunter, who had team-highs of 21 points and seven rebounds. Lauren Park-Lane notched a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists with only two turnovers. Butler was led by
Tenley Dowell and her career-high 17 points. Dowell hit 5 of her 11 shot attempts, including three from 3-point range. She led BU with nine rebounds in the setback.
Last Game
The Musketeers won for the second time in their last three games as five finished in double figures, including a game-high 15 points for Ayanna Townsend. Shaila Beeler notched her second double-digit assist game of the season with 10 dimes as Xavier assisted on 23 of its 33 made field goals. The visiting Musketeers took the lead with 8:15 left in the first quarter and never looked back thanks to its hottest shooting performance of the conference slate (.524).
Sydney Jaynes led the Bulldogs with 12 points off 4-of-8 shooting, while
Tenley Dowell added 11 points, including a trio of made threes.
Taborn For Two!
Celena Taborn is on pace to break the Butler single-season field goal percentage record. The Furman transfer has made 113 of her 165 attempts (68.5%). The current record is 65.5% held by Liesl Schultz. Schultz has her name listed three total times in the top ten. She shot 65.5 percent (55-84) in the 1991-92 season. She shot 60.4% (142-235) in the 1993-94 campaign and 59.6% (165-227) in 1994-95.
Sexton For 3!
Emilia Sexton leads Butler with 38 made 3-pointers this season. The senior from Louisville made five triples early in the year vs. SIUE, matched that total with five more at Xavier, and also sank five vs. DePaul on Jan. 21. 38 of her 50 made field goals this season have been from behind the arc. Those numbers mirror her career stats with Sexton making 81 of her 107 field goals at BU from long distance.

Butler freshmen have scored 769 of the 1,378 Bulldog points this season (55.8%). BU first-year players scored 28 of the team's 54 points against Xavier. A freshman has led BU in scoring 10 times this year, including Sunday with
