@ButlerWTennis Wins 4-2 over Saint Louis

INDIANAPOLIS –
The Butler women's tennis team picked up a 4-2 win over Saint Louis on Sunday in the Butler Bubble.

Both Natalie Boesing and Norah Balthazor won at singles and doubles to help the Bulldogs get the victory.

Boesing teamed up with Delaney Schurhamer at No. 1 doubles for a point-clinching 7-5 win over Mariona Perez and Jessica Stefan before taking a straight sets decision at No. 1 singles (6-1, 6-2).

The duo of Balthazor and Veronika Bruetting took a tight 7-6 match at No. 2 singles, while Balthazor won the No. 4 singles match 6-2, 6-4 over Lucija Faj.

Emma Beavin rounded out the scoring for Butler with a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 6 singles. Katie Beavin was well on her way to victory at No. 5 singles, leading 6-1, 5-2 when the match had been clinched.

The next scheduled match for the Bulldogs is at home against Western Kentucky on Friday, March 25 at 3 p.m.
