Final Results

INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler men's tennis team swept Saint Louis on Sunday at the Butler Bubble.

The Bulldogs got on the board first by winning No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. Thomas Brennan and Alvaro Huete Vadillo teamed up for a 6-3 win in the top spot while the duo of Michael Dickson and Drew Michael posted a 6-2 decision in the third spot.

Brennan and Huete kept the momentum going in singles, taking their matches in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 3, respectively. Brennan beat Oscar Alvarez 6-1, 6-0, while Huete won 7-6(5), 6-4 over Theo Ortis.

Patrick Joss rounded out the scoring for the Bulldogs with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles. Michael Dickson led 6-1, 4-6, 2-1 at No. 2 singles when the match was clinched by Butler.

The Bulldogs will next travel to Youngstown, Ohio for a neutral site match with Georgetown on Saturday at 11 a.m.
