Final Results

Oxford, Ohio – The Butler track and field teams opened up the outdoor portion of the schedule on Friday with the Blizzard Buster at George Rider Track.

Zac Stanley won the 400m race with a time of 48.39 seconds to outpace the rest of the field of 13. He also won his section in the 200m dash (22.68) and finished fifth overall in the field of 22.

Drew Herman won another event for the Butler men, finishing first in the high jump with a 1.95m (6' 4 ¾") leap. Max Wilhelm posted a time of 15.46 seconds to finish third in the 110m hurdles.

In distance races, Liam Dennis (3:56.41) and Trey Harris (3:58.04) finished 1-2 in their section of the 1500m, with those times being good enough to place them fourth and fifth, respectively, in the field of 38. In the 3000m men's race, Sean Robertson (8:31.60), Nick Doud (8:32.14) and Max Lauerman (8:35.12) finished second through fourth.

Bulldogs also fared well in the women's 1500m race, with Morgan Walsh (4:42.92) and Lexi Affolter (4:43.83) taking the top two spots in their section.

The Bulldogs are scheduled to compete at the Raleigh Relays in North Carolina next Friday and Saturday.
