Final Results
Claire Edwards posted a Top 10 finish as the Nevel Meade Collegiate concluded Tuesday in Prospect, Ky. Edwards, the top-performing Bulldog, tied for eighth among a field that included 90 entries.
Edwards shot 77 (+5) Tuesday after opening the tournament with rounds of 73 and 80. She finished the 54-hole event at 230 (+14). Her opening-round score of 73 gave her the 18-hole lead.
Teammate
Ally Ross finished one stroke behind Edwards, just as she entered the round. Ross also shot a Tuesday 77. Ross's total of 231 (+15) tied for 11
th. Ross had three birdies Tuesday on the par-72, 5,953-yard Nevel Meade Golf Course.
As a team, Butler placed tenth on the leaderboard. The Bulldogs shot 317 Tuesday after rounds of 314 and 321 Monday. Butler finished at 952 (+88).
Host Cleveland State took the team title at 918 (+54), which was eight shots better than second-place Youngstown State. There were 15 teams in the field. Â
Bellarmine's Josephine Bonin entered the final round with the 36-hole lead at two-over 146. She took medalist honors with a three-stroke victory over Youngstown State's Puthita Khuanrudee. Bonin finished at five-over 221 after rounds of 76, 70, and 75.

st at 247 (+31).
Katie Steinman shot 256 (+40) and finished 79
th.
Nicole Jordan, playing as an individual, was part of a group that tied for 67
th at 249 (+33).
The Bulldogs return to action April 4-5 at the Eastern Kentucky Invitational in Richmond, Ky.
