Final Results
Raleigh, N.C. – The Butler track and field teams wrapped up the Raleigh Relays on Saturday at the Paul Derr Track and Field Facility.
Barry Keane's time of 28:15.60 in the 10,000m run on Friday placed him second out of 107 finishers, with the winner breaking the track record. The time was also second-best in NCAA Division I as of Friday night.
Zac Stanley had another Top 10 finish for the Bulldogs with a 7.18m (23' 6 ¾") leap in the long jump to place eighth in a field of 40.
Chandler McGaha (3:50.84) in the men's 1500m and
Corinna Pena (4:25.86) in the women's 1500m posted lifetime bests in the event on their way to winning their sections.
Rebecca Collester ran the 100m dash in 12.23 seconds for a personal best. Also posting personal records in women's races were
Maddie McLain (16:53.07) and
Morgan Werner (16:53.98) in the 5000m and
Kami Hankins (34:54.96) in the 10,000m run.
Bulldogs are scheduled to compete at the Stanford Invitational in California and Redbird Invitational in Illinois next weekend.
