Final Results

INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler women's tennis team defeated IUPUI 6-1 Wednesday afternoon at the Butler Bubble.

Playing without a full team, IUPUI squeezed out the doubles point, but the Bulldogs won every singles match in straight sets for the final outcome.

Delaney Schurhamer picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win in the top spot, while Katie Beavin (6-1, 6-1) and Emma Beavin (6-3, 6-0) followed with wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles respectively.

Norah Balthazor clinched the match for the Bulldogs with a 6-3, 6-3 decision over Meghan Bernard at No. 2 singles. Veronika Bruetting also posted a victory with a score of 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5.

Butler's next scheduled match is at Xavier on Sunday, April 10 at 3 p.m.
