Final Results

INDIANAPOLIS – The Butler women's tennis team picked up its second win in a row and third of four with a 7-0 sweep of Valparaiso on Saturday at the Butler Bubble.

The No. 3 doubles duo of Sara Linn and Logan White defeated their opponents 6-2 before Norah Balthazor and Veronika Bruetting clinched the opening point for the Bulldogs with a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles.

Every Butler singles player won in straight sets except for Natalie Boesing at No. 1, who pulled off a 4-6, 6-1, 7-5 comeback victory over Valpo's Olivia Czerwonka. Sara Linn (7-6, 7-6) and Norah Balthazor (7-5, 7-6) took close matches for the Bulldogs at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively.

The Bulldogs will travel to Florida for a two-game spring break trip which begins with a 10 a.m. match on Tuesday at Florida Atlantic.
