The Butler women's lacrosse team will host #9 Denver at Varsity Field on Saturday, April 2. First draw is set for noon.
 
Bulldog Bits:
 
- 11 new Bulldogs joined the team this season and are a part of one of Butler's strongest recruiting classes in program history
- Campbell Connors has 27 goals and five assists on the season
- Leah Rubino has eight goals, five assists, 20 caused turnovers, and 36 draw controls
- Greer Bireley has five goals and 20 assists this season
- Lindsey Schreiber has 17 goals, 11 assists, and 27 draw controls this season
- Aleigh Monroe has played 405 minutes between the pipes this season, recording 53 saves
- Lindsey Schreiber had three goals and five draw controls against Youngstown St.
- Campbell Connors had four goals against YSU
- Kaley Attaway had two goals agaisnt YSU
- Aleigh Monroe and Katie McGrath combined for 10 saves and the victory over YSU
 
 
Last Time Out
On Sunday, the Bulldogs came away victorious over Youngstown St. 12-9. Campbell Connors continued her hot streak after tallying four goals against Youngstown St. Connors was tabbed as a BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll selection for the second straight week after her performances on Friday and Sunday.
 
Lindsey Schreiber scored three for the Bulldogs on Sunday. She caps her week with six goals, one assist, and nine draw controls. Aleigh Monroe and Katie McGrath combined for ten saves and the victory.
 
Scouting the Pioneers
In the most recent RPI rankings, Denver comes in at #9 in the country. The Pioneers are 10-1, with their only loss of the season coming to #1 Boston College. Denver secured a 19-11 victory over San Diego State on the road in their last outing. 
 
This season, Bea Behrins leads the Pioneers on offense with 35 goals and 11 assists. Behrins was the BIG EAST Attack Player of the Year in 2021 after notching 51 goals last season. The Graduate Student has 163 career goals for the Pioneers in her five years at Denver. 
 
Lauren Black and Julia Gilbert are both lethal on the offensive end for the Pioneers. Black has 24 goals, and Gilbert has 21 on the season thus far. Emelia Bohi has logged nearly 590 minutes this season between the pipes. Bohi has 53 saves and nine wins for the Pioneers.
