@ButlerWLacrosse Heads to Milwaukee to Face Marquette

The Butler women's lacrosse team will travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to take on the Marquette Golden Eagles on Saturday. First draw is set for 1 p.m.
 
Bulldog Bits:
- Campbell Connors has 31 goals and seven assists on the season
- Leah Rubino has nine goals, five assists, 24 caused turnovers, and 44 draw controls
- Greer Bireley has eight goals and 27 assists this season
- Lindsey Schreiber has 22 goals, 12 assists, and 34 draw controls this season
- Aleigh Monroe has played 455 minutes between the pipes this season, recording 57 saves
- Katie McGrath has played 241 minutes in goal and made 31 saves
- Ella Squibb has 33 draw controls this season
- Lindsey Schreiber had three goals and three draw controls vs. Georgetown
- Gabryelle Bodine had two goals against GU
- Greer Bireley had two assists
 
Last Time Out
In a conference matchup, the Bulldogs fell to the Hoyas 17-7 on Saturday. 
 
The Bulldogs went into the half down 11-2 and were unable to overcome the deficit. Lindsey Schreiber scored three goals for Butler, while Gabryelle Bodine added two. Campbell Connors and Greer Bireley both had two assists. Bodine led Butler with nine shots. Georgetown held a slim edge in shots, 34-30. The Hoyas' Emily Gaven made ten saves.
 
Ella Squibb and Schreiber combined for seven of the Bulldogs nine draw controls on the day. Schreiber has 34 draw controls, and Squibb has 33 so far this season. Leah Rubino leads the Bulldogs with 44. 
 
Katie McGrath had six saves for the Bulldogs before giving way to Aleigh Monroe midway through the second period. Monroe added three saves during her 35 minutes of action. 
 
Scouting the Golden Eagles
The Golden Eagles were victorious in their last outing when they took down Villanova 19-14 on Saturday. Kyra Lamotte and Meg Bireley each had four goals against Villanova. Shea Garcia and Emma Soccodato each had three against Villanova. Garcia, Soccodato, Lamotte, and Bireley combined for 14 of the Golden Eagles 19 goals.
 
Graduate Student and former Butler goalie Amanda Rumsey was between the pipes for all 60 minutes against Villanova. Rumsey has played 618 minutes in net this season and has tallied 95 saves.

The Bulldogs will travel to Connecticut to take on UConn on Saturday, April 23. First draw is set for 11 a.m.
