Pine Mountain, Ga. – The Bulldogs' season came to close Wednesday with the final round of the 2022 BIG EAST Men's Golf Championship Presented by JEEP.
 
The three-day, 54-hole event ran through Wednesday in Georgia.
 
Butler finished in tenth with a 54-hole total of 906 (+42). As a team, the Bulldogs shot two-under 286 Monday at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Ga., to enter the second round in second place. Rounds of 305 Tuesday and 315 Wednesday pushed the Bulldogs down the leaderboard.
 
Seton Hall shot 10-under 278 in Wednesday's final round to jump Marquette and UConn, taking the team title at 849 (-15). Marquette finished second at 852 (-12). Marquette and UConn entered Wednesday tied for the lead, one shot ahead of Seton Hall.
 
Seton Hall's Gregor Tait and Caleb Manuel of UConn tied for the individual lead at 205 (-11). Tait led Seton Hall's Wednesday charge with a seven-under 65, which was the best round of the day on the 7,081-yard Mountain View Course by three strokes. Manuel won medalist honors and the individual berth in the NCAA Regional in a playoff with Tait. Seton Hall also earns a team NCAA Regional berth.
 
Raymond Sullivan was the top Butler finisher, tying for 22nd at four-over 220. Sullivan shot a five-under 67 Monday before rounds of 76 and 77 to close the tournament.
 
Daniel Tanaka also shot a five-over 77 in Wednesday's final round, which left his 54-hole total at 226 (+10). He finished in a tie for 35th. Freshman Damon Dickey was one shot back of Tanaka at 227 (+11) following a Wednesday 79. He finished in a tie for 39th.
 
Michael Tanaka shot 82 Wednesday and concluded the event in a tie for 44th at 233 (+17).
 
Freshman Henry Quinn subbed into the line-up for Wednesday's final round. He took the spot of Nick Williams, who played the first 36 holes. Quinn shot a 10-over 82 in his only round of the tournament.
 
The event served as the final competition of the 2021-22 season for the Bulldogs.
