Butler's
Ally Ross posted a one-under 71 in Tuesday's final round of the Colonel Classic, which moved her up the leaderboard and into third in the final standings.

Ross's 71 included five birdies on the par-72, 5,910-yard University Club at Arlington course. She finished the 54-hole event at four-over 220 and alone in third place. Only one player in the field Tuesday shot better than her 71; Ross entered the final round in a tie for seventh.

Eastern Kentucky's Ragga Kristinsdottir won the event at 212 (-4).

Eastern Kentucky University hosted the event over the past two days in Richmond, Ky.

As a team, the Bulldogs climbed three shots on the leaderboard Tuesday to move into eighth place. There were 13 teams in the field. The Bulldogs shot 297 Tuesday, which was the second-best round of the day behind only eventual champion Eastern Kentucky.

Butler's 297 also was significantly better than their Monday scores of 313 and 310. Butler finished with a total of 920 (+56).

The host Colonels won the event at 878 (+14), which was 22 shots better than second-place Georgia State (900; +36).

Claire Edwards tied for 22
nd at 12-over 228; she shot 74 on Tuesday, which was her best round of the event.
Madalin Small's 73 Tuesday moved her up to a tie for 55
th at 238 (+22).

Alaina Bowie (242; +26) and
Katie Steinman (245; +29) tied for 63
rd and 68
th, respectively.
Nicole Jordan, playing as an individual, finished 73
rd at 253 (+37).
