The Bulldogs make the short drive up I-65 for this weekend's Boilermaker Invitational.

Butler will join an elite field that includes four Top-100 teams among the 14-team field.

The Bulldogs and host Purdue (ranked No. 32) will compete against No. 21 Illinois, No. 51 Indiana, No. 98 Wisconsin, Rutgers, Illinois State, Troy, Minnesota, Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Miami (Ohio), Loyola Chicago, and IUPUI.

This is the 18th year of the event, but the first time being played on the Ackerman-Allen Golf Course on Purdue's West Lafayette campus. The course was renovated by Pete Dye in 2016 and is 7,546 yards from the tips. The typical home for the event – the Kampen Course – is being renovated currently.

Coach Colby Huffman will utilize a line-up that consists of Daniel Tanaka, Raymond Sullivan, Henry Quinn, Damon Dickey, and Weston Guili. The Bulldogs are coming off a second-place finish at last week's Butler Spring Invitational.

Play is scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will be 36 holes played continuously with the same groups, while Sunday's final 18 will be an 8:30 a.m. start.

Live scoring will be available via GolfStat.
