The Wildcats won the opener 3-2, but SHU battled back to win 5-4 on Saturday and 3-2 on Sunday to win their first conference series since April 10 (2-1 over Xavier).
Relief pitcher Zane Probst was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday. Probst struck out four of the eight batters he faced in two innings of relief to record the save and the series victory for SHU in the 3-2 win over Nova on Sunday. It was his second save of the year.
Devin Hack is the only student-athlete on the roster to start in all 50 games. The junior outfielder has 51 hits, including 10 doubles, three triples and one home run for 23 RBI. He also leads the team in runs scored (24) and base on balls (26).
