Ally Ross capped off the 2021-22 season and her Bulldog career with her selection to the seven-member All-BIG EAST Team. The conference made the announcement Tuesday, May 3.
The selections were made by the league's head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their own players.
Ross placed fifth in the BIG EAST Championship and finished in the top five in four of her last five tournaments. Ross, who hails from West Lafayette, Ind., compiled a 74.42 stroke average in 12 tournaments. She posted a total of seven Top-10 finishes, including a win at the Benbow Invitational in March.
Xavier sophomore Emma McMyler has been named BIG EAST Player of the Year in women's golf. Creighton's Katherine Lemke has been selected BIG EAST Freshman of the Year. McMyler and Lemke also are included in a seven-member All-BIG EAST Team. The Xavier and Creighton coaching staffs share BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year honors. Breanna Jenco is the head coach at Xavier and Debbie Conry leads Creighton.
