Sean Robertson took the individual crown at the season-opening Rose-Hulman Twilight, leading a Butler contingent that took five of the top six spots in the men's 5K race Thursday night in Terre Haute. Butler's women did just better, sweeping the women's competition behind champion
Abby Olson.

Butler swept the top spots, posting a perfect score of 15. DePauw (50) and Rose-Hulman (85) followed. Earlham has several individuals in the field.
OF NOTE:
- On the women's side, Jacqueline Brasseale (19:32.9) and Alyssa Green (22:16.9) ran unattached.
- In the USTFCCCA preseason poll, Butler's men are ranked 22nd, while Butler's women are receiving votes and just outside the Top 30 nationally-ranked teams.
- The LaVern Gibson Championship Course was the site of Thursday's season-opener and will also be the site of the NCAA Great Lakes Regional in November.
- Dunagan arrives at Butler as a transfer from Morehead State. Thursday's meet, in his hometown of Terre Haute, was his Butler debut.
UP NEXT: Butler's men will head to the Penn State Invitational Friday, Sept. 9; Butler's women are next in action Friday, Sept. 16 at the Redbird Invitational, hosted by Illinois State.
