LEADING THE WAY: In his Butler debut, Horne posted the best round of the day among the 95 competitors with a Tuesday 67. His four-under scorecard included seven birdies on the par-71, 6,523-yard Guyan Golf & Country Club in Barboursville. He climbed 15 positions on the leaderboard from the beginning of the day to the final hole.

Tyler Jones of Marshall won the event at eight-under 205. He shot 69 (-2) in Tuesday's final round.

Belmont and Eastern Michigan tied for third at two-under 850, which was seven shots better than Butler. The Bulldogs' 54-hole total of 857 (+5) landed them in fifth, three shots clear of Purdue Fort Wayne.
