Final Results
 
The Bulldogs posted a seventh-place team finish at the Zach Johnson Invitational in Iowa. The 54-hole event concluded Tuesday.  
 
THE BULLDOGS: Sophomore Damon Dickey was the top-finishing Bulldog with a 54-hole total of 222 (+9). He polished off the tournament with a one-over round of 72 Tuesday on the 6,898-yard Glen Oaks Country Club course in West Des Moines, Iowa. That round featured five birdies. Dickey shot a pair of 75s Monday. Dickey tied for 25^th.
 
Freshman Connor McNeely was one shot back of Dickey's group, tying for 28^th at 223 (+10). He shot 76 Tuesday.
 
Classmate Will Horne shot 77-72-76 to finish in a tie for 32^nd. He posted a 54-hole total of 225 (+12).
 
Weston Guili, in his first action of the season, tied for 48^th at 16-over 229. He shot a final round 75.
 
Henry Quinn carded rounds of 72 and 77 in the second and third rounds, respectively, after his first round scorecard was disqualified.  
 
THE TEAMS: North Dakota State entered the final round with an 11-shot lead after 36 holes of play Monday. NDSU was able to hold off a hard-charging Iowa State team that shot a 13-under 271 in Tuesday's final round.
 
North Dakota State's 54-hole total of 840 (-12) was three shots better than Iowa State (842). Valparaiso placed third (856).
 
Butler entered the day in seventh among the 14 teams and finished in that same spot following play Monday. The Bulldogs shot 299 Tuesday following rounds of 303 and 294 Monday. The total of 896 (+44) was seven shots behind sixth-place Northern Iowa and two shots clear of South Dakota and Loyola Chicago, which tied for eighth.
 
Valparaiso's Anthony Delisanti used a seven-under 64 Tuesday to overcome a three-shot deficit entering the final round to post a five-shot victory. He finished at 202 (-11).
 
UP NEXT: The Bulldogs travel to Ohio for the Tom Tontimonia Invitational hosted by Cleveland State. The tournament is slated for Monday and Tuesday.
