– Butler and Creighton will play on FS1 this Saturday afternoon at 4 PM. Jason Ross Jr. and Kim Adams will have the call inside Hinkle Fieldhouse. This contest features the top 3-point shooting teams in the BIG EAST Conference.

Bulldogs Bits
- Saturday will be the 21st overall meeting between Butler and Creighton.
- Kendall Wingler scored a career-high 23 points at Georgetown.
- Wingler has scored 39 points over her last two games and had just 36 over her first 12.
- Jordan Meulemans also set a new career-high with 12 points vs. the Hoyas.
- Meulemans made a career-high four 3-pointers in the victory at Georgetown.
- Jessica Carrothers returned to action on Wednesday and dished out a career-high six assists in the win.
- Carrothers had been inactive over Butler's last five games (11/18 at Marquette).
- Caroline Strande recorded a career-high four assists vs. the Hoyas and led BU with eight rebounds.
- Strande had led Butler in rebounding five times this season.

Scouting Creighton                                                                                
The Bluejays have won two in a row to improve their overall record to 11-5. Recent victories came against quality opponents in Marquette and Seton Hall. Creighton also made a statement with conference wins over Villanova and DePaul. Before the start of BIG EAST play, Creighton faced four ranked opponents during the non-conference slate. They defeated No. 23 South Dakota State and #22 Nebraska, but fell to #21 Arkansas and #2 Stanford. Head Coach Jim Flanery has guided the Bluejays to five NCAA Tournament Appearances with the last coming in 2022. Creighton reached the Elite Eight with victories over Colorado, Iowa and Iowa State.
 
All-Time Series vs. Creighton                                                              
Creighton leads the all-time series against Butler 12-8. The Bluejays have won three-straight over BU, but the Bulldogs swept the regular season series vs. Creighton in 2019-20. Butler won the first three meetings as conference foes, but Creighton responded by winning the next six matchups.
 
Butler's Last Game vs. Creighton                                                       
Creighton posted a 96-49 win over Butler in the last meeting. The Bluejays scored 33 points in the first quarter and added 31 in the third to take full control of the contest in Omaha. Kendall Wingler scored a team-high 14 points for Butler. She came off the bench to hit four 3-pointers. Tenley Dowell and Sydney Jaynes were in the starting lineup and each played over 20 minutes for the Bulldogs. Lauren Jensen led the Bluejays with 23 points. All seven of her field goals came from behind the arc. Creighton hit 22 3-pointers that day.
 
Creighton's Last Game                                                                         
Molly Mogensen hit the first shot of the game, a three-pointer just 20 seconds in, and Creighton never looked back, picking up a wire-to-wire win in what has become a rivalry game in Omaha. Mogensen finished with 11 points, one of four Bluejays in double figures, including a game-high 23 for Morgan Maly. Creighton (11-5, 5-3 BIG EAST) shot .564 from the field and was 12-of-25 from deep. Sidney Cooks led Seton Hall with 20 points and six boards, while Lauren Park-Lane added 14 points and seven assists. The Hall (13-5, 6-2) went 0-12 from three after averaging over six made per game entering the contest.
 
Bulldogs on the Big Stage                                                                                   
The Bulldogs have won four games when playing on FS1 since joining the BIG EAST Conference. Those victories came against Seton Hall, Creighton, St. John's and Xavier. The 'Dawgs defeated Creighton 75-43 in Omaha during the 2018-19 season when playing in front of a national audience.
 
BIG Win in the BIG EAST                                                                                     
Butler defeated a BIG EAST opponent by 20+ points for the first time since Feb. 15, 2019 on Wednesday night. Ironically, Butler's last 20-point win over a conference foe was against Creighton in Indianapolis (66-46).
 
Scoring Runs                                                                                           
The Bulldogs used multiple scoring runs to defeat Georgetown by 24-points on Wednesday night. BU ended the first quarter on a 7-2 run to get back in the game and a 19-4 scoring spree over the final seven minutes of the second quarter would give Butler a 34-23 advantage at the half. Over the final 20 minutes, BU had 8-0 scoring runs in both the third and fourth quarters.
 
Mix and Match                                                                                       
Creighton has had four student-athletes start in all 16 games this year with the fifth spot split between two players. The Bulldogs have only had two players start in all 17 games with eight different players earning at least one start.
 
Behind The Arc                                                                                       
Butler ranks 7th in the NCAA and second in the BIG EAST in 3-point field goal percentage (38.6). Kendall Wingler and Jordan Meulemans combined to hit eight 3-pointers in Butler's last game at Georgetown. BU hit 13 total in the win over the Hoyas while limiting Georgetown to just two. The Bulldogs average 7.8 made 3-point field goals per game (2nd in the BIG EAST) trailing only Creighton who makes nearly nine per contest (8.8). BU hit a season-high 14 3-pointers in their win at Xavier.
 
Guard the Line                                                                                       
Creighton (141) and Butler (132) rank 1-2 in the conference in made 3-pointers. The Bluejays also rank first in defending the 3-point line (26.6) while the 'Dawgs rank fifth in 3-point field goal defense (29.5). Creighton's best shooting performance came against Providence on Jan. 4. They shot 16-for-32 from 3 against the Friars (50%) but lost 79-75!
 
NET Rankings                                                                                          
Six of Butler's last eight opponents appear in the Top-50 of the latest NCAA NET Rankings (NCAA Evaluation Tool). That stretch of the schedule included games against Villanova (23), UConn (2), Seton Hall (46), Indiana (5), Marquette (42), and Illinois (29). The Illini and Wildcats also just slid back into the AP Top-25 along with UConn and IU. The Bluejays moved from 28 to 24 in the latest NET rankings and the Bulldogs jumped 16 spots to 121.
 
Georgetown Recap                                                                                              
Trailing 15-12 after the first quarter, Butler erupted for a 22-8 second quarter to pull away from the host Hoyas on Wednesday evening. Kendall Wingler scored a career-high 23 points on 7-of-11 shooting to lead the Bulldogs (7-10, 2-6), who snapped a three-game skid with the win. Kelsey Ransom tallied 16 points, six boards and four steals in the setback. Butler registered 19 assists on 26 field goals, including six dimes for Jessica Carrothers, who was playing for the first time since Dec. 18. Georgetown (8-8, 1-6) forced 21 turnovers but committed 20 of their own.
