Over at the University of Illinois Armory for the Illini Challenge, Niki Ezeh, competing unattached, claimed the top spot in the women's indoor pentathlon.

Ezeh scored 4,003 points setting a new personal best and winning three of the five events, including the 60-meter hurdles, long jump, and shot put. Her mark topped the pentathlon score by unattached Butler athlete Becca Coan who went on to win the heptathlon at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships.
