The Butler men's tennis team competed in the Ball State Fall Invitational this past weekend in Muncie, Ind.
 
The Bulldogs competed against Ball State, IUPUI and fellow BIG EAST member Marquette.  
 
In Friday's double matches Alvaro Huete Vadillo and Rahulniket Konakanchi were defeated by Sajin Smith and Nathaniel Webster from Ball State (6-3). Huete Vadillo and Konakanchi went on to play Blessing Benibo and Steven Paz from IUPUI in the consolation match (BUTLER 6-0). The two went on to play fellow teammates, Arnesh Singh and Nicolas Arts in the Consolation Championship, beating them 7-6.
 
In Saturday's single matches Michael Karr played in the Singles B Flight, posting a 2-0 record. 
 
The Bulldogs will travel to Chattanooga, Tenn. to compete in the ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Regionals on Oct. 12 – Oct. 16.
