Butler Men's Tennis Finishes Fall Play at the ITA Regionals

The Butler men's tennis team wrapped up fall play this past weekend at the ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) Regionals in Chattanooga, Tenn. 
 
The Bulldogs started main round play in Round of 128 singles and Round of 64 doubles on Thursday. Borja Miralles won his first match in the Round of 128 singles before falling to Alfred Wallin from Belmont in the Round of 64. Doubles pairs Siddhartha Lama and Nicolas Arts, along with Alvaro Huete Vadillo and Miralles won their Round of 64 doubles matches, but ended main round play after losses in the Round of 32. 
 
On Saturday, Rahulniket Konakanchi and Arnesh Singh performed well in the singles consolation competition. In the Round of 32, Konakanchi defeated Charlie Temming from Xavier, 6-4, 6-4. In the qualifying Round of 64 Singh beat Aeneas Schaub from Austin Peay, 6-3, 6-1. 

The Bulldogs will resume their 2023-24 season in the spring. Their schedule will be released at a later date.
