Butler's 36-hole total of 598 (+38) is just five shots out of second place, which is held by host Dayton. The University of Indianapolis has the team lead at 16-over 576. Dayton (593; +33) is followed closely by Loyola Chicago (594), Bellarmine (597), IUPUI (597), Toledo (597), and then both Butler and Western Michigan at 598. There are a total of 11 teams in the field.

Kelli Scheck is the leading Bulldog after Monday's play. She is tied for 14
th at seven-over 147. Her afternoon round of 73 on the par-70, 5,937-yard NCR Country Club North Course included 16 pars.

Madalin Small, playing as an individual for the Bulldogs, is tied for 20
th at 149 (+9). She is followed by teammates
Katie Steinman and
Cybil Stillson, who are part of a group tied for 23
rd at 10-over 150.

Ohio State's Kailie Vongsaga holds the lead entering Tuesday's final round. After rounds of 71 and 70 Monday, her total of one-over 141 is one shot better than three golfers who are tied for second at 142. Ohio State has several players in the field competing as individuals.
