INDIANAPOLIS – The Bulldogs collected their fifth win of the season on Wednesday night with a 67-46 victory over Bradley at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Caroline Strande,
Rachel Kent and
Jordan Meulemans all scored in double figures to lead the BU offense.
Butler led Bradley 6-0 at the start of the game and would move forward to hit nine-straight field goals in the opening frame to jump out to a 22-5 lead.
Jordan Meulemans scored seven of Butler's first 12 points and
Caroline Strande would lead the team with eight points over the first 10 minutes. The Bulldog defense was also locked in limiting the Braves to just two made field goals.
Strande and Meulemans each hit double figures in the first half and Butler would enjoy a 42-17 lead at the break. Butler shot 53 percent from the field in the first half and seven different Bulldogs had made at least one field goal.
Bradley played much better in the second half, but the 'Dawgs still outscored the Braves 17-13 in the third. BU used the entire roster and cruised to the finish line for the 21-point victory.
