Jack Elder excelled in the final three events of the men's indoor heptathlon to take home another gold medal. Elder set a new lifetime best with a score of 5051 points after winning the 60m hurdles and finishing in the top four of the pole vault and 1000 meters.

The Bulldog men added three more silver medals to the collection.

Luke Finnegan came in second for the 60m with a time of 6.76. Finnegan broke his previous school record from the Blue & Gold Invitational in December.

For the first time in his Butler career, Jesse Hamlin broke four minutes in the mile, capturing second at 3:59.25. Hamlin was less than a second shy of breaking Simon Bedard's record from last season.

Rounding out the podium finishes was Gavin Cougle in the men's 400 meters at 47.76. His mark was a new personal best and half a second away from rewriting history.

The Butler men's 4x800 relay unit of Carter Schorr, Xavier Wills, Michael Dunagan, and Bennett DuBois broke the school record at 7:36.40 to place fifth. The quartet for the 4x400 relay placed fourth with a time of 3:15.33.

In the field, Drew Herman missed the podium in the high jump after losing a tiebreaker to a Marquette high jumper. Herman came in fourth matching his personal best with a leap of 2.00 meters.
