Butler's Kelli Scheck is among the Top 20 entering the final round of the Rio Verde Invitational. The event is hosted by Western Michigan and is being contested in Arizona.
 
The 54-hole event concludes Sunday.
 
Scheck is tied for 18^th at six-over 150. She shot 77 Saturday after an opening-round 73 on the 6,044-yard Quail Run course Friday.
 
Butler is 14^th as a team after the first 36 holes. The Bulldogs shot 314 (+26) Saturday, following an open-round 303 Friday. Butler's two-day total of 617 is only 10 shots out of fifth place among the tightly-contested leaderboard.
 
BIG EAST rival Xavier has the 36-hole lead at six-over 582. The Musketeers have been led by Emma McMyler, who is tied with Akron's Daphne van Son for the individual lead at even-par 144.
 
Butler freshman Cybil Stillson shot 79 Saturday and is tied for 30^th at 152 (+8).
 
Katie Steinman improved four shots from her Friday round by carding a second-round 76. She is tied for 59^th at 156 (+12). Madalin Small (160; +16) and Alaina Bowie (162; +18) are tied for 72^nd and 80^th, respectively, entering the final round.
