The Butler women's lacrosse team will take on the Winthrop Eagles in Tennessee on Sunday at 11 a.m.

Maggie Zentgraf is in her first season as head coach at Butler. Zentgraf takes over for Cecil Pilson, who was the team's head coach since the program started in 2017. She previously coached at Division III Lake Forest, going 11-4 in the program's first-ever season.

The Bulldogs went 6-9 in the 2022 season, setting a program-record in wins.

With 64 career goals, Campbell Connors is now two goals away from becoming the program's all-time leader.

Leah Rubino won BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week (3/14) for her performance against Lindenwood. She recorded two goals, one assist, three groundballs, three caused turnovers and five draw controls.

Butler ranks second in the Big East in goals per game with 13.5. They are also second in the conference in ground balls and draw controls.

Leah Rubino ranks second in the Big East in caused turnovers per game, averaging two per contest.
Last Time Out
Butler's last game resulted in a 13-8 win over Lindenwood on March 11. Eight Bulldogs scored in the contest, led by Campbell Connors and her three goals. Kayleigh Colleary, Emmie Ridgeway, and Leah Rubino each had two tallies. Colleary added two assists. Rubino also led the team with three groundballs.
