INDIANAPOLIS – Butler's student-athletes continued their strong performance in the classroom during the spring 2023 semester. The teams combined for an impressive 3.437 cumulative GPA.
 
The achievement marks the ninth consecutive semester that Butler student-athletes combined for a 3.3 GPA or higher. 
 
The spring 2023 semester saw 98 student-athletes earn a perfect 4.0 GPA. Butler also had 361 student-athletes make the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, which requires a GPA of at least 3.25. 
 
The women's cross country team recorded the highest team GPA among Butler's programs with a 3.827. Women's soccer registered a 3.818 GPA and were closely followed by women's track and field, which posted a 3.807. 
 
The cross country team also led on the men's side with a 3.638 mark. Men's track and field and men's soccer rounded out the top three with 3.544 and 3.466 GPAs, respectively.
