Fall play continues this week for the Butler men's golf team as the Bulldogs compete in the Virtues Intercollegiate, hosted by Miami (Ohio).
The event is scheduled for a total of 54 holes over Monday and Tuesday with shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m. The Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio will serve as the host course, set up at 7,243 yards.
Butler and the host RedHawks will be joined by Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Cleveland State, Eastern Kentucky, George Washington, James Madison, Longwood, Marshall, Michigan, Northern Kentucky, Ohio, Purdue Fort Wayne, Robert Morris (Pa.), Wright State, and Youngstown State.
Coach Colby Huffman will utilize a line-up of
Damon Dickey,
Will Horne,
Leo Zurovac,
Daniel Tanaka, and
Derek Tabor.
Butler opened the season with a runner-up finish at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational hosted by Ball State. Horne paced the Bulldogs with a third-place individual finish at three-over 213.
