Butler's
Will Horne posted a Top 5 finish at the Virtues Intercollegiate, using a final-round 67 Tuesday to continue to climb the leaderboard.
Horne finished the 54-hole event at eight-under 208, tying for fourth.
It was the second consecutive impressive round for Horne after shooting a 66 in Monday's second round. His Tuesday five-under 67 included six birdies and only one bogey on the 7,243-yard The Virtues Golf Club course in Nashport, Ohio.
Horne finished just a single shot behind the three players who tied for medalist honors – Ben Hoagland and Yuqi Liu of Michigan and Ohio's Will Kates. All three were at 207 (-9).

For the second day in a row,
Damon Dickey carded a four-under 68. His Tuesday round featured seven birdies. He also opened the tournament with a 68 in Monday's opening round; in between, he posted a 78 Monday afternoon. His 54-hole total of two-under 214 placed him in a tie for 21
st. He climbed 23 spots on the leaderboard with Tuesday's round.
As a team, the Bulldogs finished eighth among the 17-team field. Tuesday's round was the best performance of the event for Butler as the team's six-under total of 282 in the final round matched the second-best round of the day on the team leaderboard. Butler had rounds of 290 and 288 Monday, finishing the tournament at 860 (-4).

Michigan held the lead after each of the three rounds, finishing at 830 (-34). That was good for a 23-shot victory over James Madison and George Washington, which tied for second at 853. Host Miami (Ohio) and Marshall were one shot behind them, tying for fourth.
