Following her third-place finish at the APSU Intercollegiate, Butler sophomore
Kelli Scheck has been selected as the BIG EAST Women's Golfer of the Week. The conference office made the announcement Thursday, Sept. 28.

It is the first weekly conference honor of Scheck's Butler career.

Scheck led the Bulldogs' effort at the APSU Intercollegiate, finishing third individually following a final-round 69.
Scheck's final round Tuesday featured four birdies against only one bogey on the 6,038-yard Clarksville Country Club course. She opened the event Monday with rounds of even-par 72 and 74.
Scheck finished the 54-hole event at one-under 215. She was four shots back of host Austin Peay's co-medalists Erica Scutt and Kady Foshaug.
Scheck and the Bulldogs will return to action Monday, hosting the Butler Fall Invitational at the team's home course – Highland Country Club. The 54-hole event continues through Tuesday.
