The Butler women posted a ninth-place finish in the gold race of Saturday's Louisville Cross Country Classic.
Wiktoria Klebowska was the top performer for the Bulldogs, placing 24
th as she completed the 5k Tom Sawyer State Park course in a time of 17:33.6.
In the team standings, the top spots went to Grand Valley State, Adams State, Eastern Michigan, Louisville and Purdue. Butler's ninth-place finish came in ahead of accomplished teams such as Clemson, UCF, Xavier, Marshall, Rice, and Eastern Kentucky. There were 36 teams in the field.
