The Butler women's soccer team will celebrate Senior Day on Sunday as No. 25 TCU pays a visit to the Sellick Bowl for the first time. The Bulldogs (2-4-1, 0-0-0 BIG EAST) are coming off a 2-2 draw with Cincinnati, while the Horned Frogs most recently defeated Purdue, 2-1, in West Lafayette.

  • Butler Women's Soccer is honoring Becky Dean in its Senior Day Recognition Ceremony prior to the start of Sunday's match. Now in the 5th year of her career, she has so far appeared in 63 matches with five starts. She has scored five goals and dished out six assists, notching two game-winning goals: one against Kent State and another vs. UConn.

  • With three goals each, Norah Jacomen and Talia Sommer rank second in the BIG EAST and 90th nationally. Each also has seven total points, which ranks third in the conference.
  • Becky Dean's two assists rank fifth in the BIG EAST.
     
  • Talia Sommer was recognized on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after her three-goal performance against IUPUI last week.
     
  • Butler has faced two opponents ((rv) Virginia Tech and #12 Notre Dame) this season that were ranked or receiving votes. Currently ranked teams remaining on the schedule are #25 TCU (Sept. 10), #21 Xavier (Sept. 21) and #13 Georgetown (Oct. 22).
