BIG EAST Release

Senior midfielder Leah Rubino has been selected to the Preseason All-BIG EAST First Team as announced by the conference on Wednesday morning. 
 
Throughout Rubino's collegiate career she has recorded 61 goals, 15 assists, and 66 points. She was the 2023 season team leader in goals and points for the Bulldogs, recording 35 goals and 40 points. 

The Potomac, Md., native received end of season All-BIG EAST First Team selection honors following her junior season. She has also been named BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week twice during her Butler career (3/13/23, 3/7/22). 
 
The Bulldogs were selected sixth in the BIG EAST Preseason poll. 

The Butler women's lacrosse program will start their season at Varsity Field against Central Michigan on Friday, Feb. 9.
