Treva Dodd and the Bulldogs both posted runner-up performances at the Loyola Parkinson Invitational as the 54-hole event concluded Tuesday in Illinois.

Dodd's three-under round of 69 was the best among the field on Tuesday and allowed her to move from a tie for eighth entering the day into second alone. She finished at even-par 216, just one shot off the pace of individual medalist Katie Ruge of Omaha. Ruge used two-under rounds of 70 in both the second and third rounds to finish at one-under 215 for the event.

Dodd got hot on the back nine Tuesday, birdying four of her final eight holes on the 6,041-yard Merit Club course in Libertyville, Ill. Her birdie on the par-5 18
th moved her into second alone.

The Bulldogs entered the final 18 holes in a tie for second, but utilized a round of seven-over 295 to move into second alone. Butler finished at 891 (+27) for the event, trailing only Illinois State (878). Butler moved ahead of Cal Baptist, which entered the day tied with the Bulldogs but finished third at 895. There were a total of 13 teams in the field.

Dodd was joined near the top of the leaderboard by
Cybil Stillson, who shot an even-par 72 Tuesday and finished at two-over 218 for the event, which was good for a tie for fifth. Stillson shot 33 on the front Tuesday.
Kelli Scheck finished in a tie for 15
th at nine-over 225.
