The Bulldogs capped off the fall portion of their schedule over the weekend in Kalamazoo, Mich., taking part in the Betsy Kuhle Challenge hosted by Western Michigan.

Butler was joined in the field by the host Broncos, UIC, and Holy Cross. The format was hidden duals featuring singles and doubles play each of the three days.

The Bulldogs capped the weekend by sweeping Holy Cross in straight sets in all six of their singles matches.

Chase Metcalf won both of her matches at No. 1 singles over the weekend before sitting out Sunday singles. Both of her wins came in straight sets.
Katie Beavin posted a perfect 3-0 record in singles play, while
Jordan Schildcrout won both of her matches.
Emma Beavin and
Elle Martin each won two singles matches as well.

In doubles play, Metcalf paired with
Brooke Arington to post a 2-1 mark in No. 1 doubles.

The Bulldogs will open the spring dual match schedule Jan. 18 at Northwestern.
