Coach Colby Huffman and the Bulldogs have signed Ethan Blomme as the national signing period opened this week. Blomme will arrive on the Butler campus and join the Bulldog men's golf program beginning with the 2025-26 season.
 
"I have no doubt that Ethan will be a very hard worker for the next four years," said Huffman. "He expects nothing but the best from himself and his teammates. We're really looking forward to his time at Butler."
 
The Bettendorf, Iowa product earned first-team all-state honors during his time at Pleasant Valley High School. He finished sixth individually at the 2023 state tournament. The Conference Player of the Year won three individual invitational titles during his prep career. His scoring average improved to 72.93 during his senior season.
 
 "I chose Butler for all of the great academic and athletic resources," said Blomme. "Specifically for golf because of the great coaching staff and the amazing schedule that we are able to play."
 
Pleasant Valley qualified for the state tournament in each of Blomme's four seasons, winning three conference championships.
 
Blomme brings a strong academic resume to Butler as well, where he intends to major in finance.
