The Butler women's lacrosse team has officially released their 2025 schedule. The Bulldogs will compete in 15 matches this season with nine non-conference games and six BIG EAST matches.

To begin the season, Butler will have seven straight non-conference matches. Their first matches will be out west in Eugene, Ore. where they will face off against the University of Oregon on Feb. 7 and Stetson on Feb. 9.

The rest of the out of conference schedule will include away matches at Youngstown State (Feb. 28), Akron (Mar. 2), and Lindenwood (Mar. 16). The Bulldogs will have their first home match against Eastern Michigan on Mar. 7.

The BIG EAST Opener will begin on Mar. 22 with the Bulldogs welcoming Marquette to Varsity Field. Butler will also host UConn (Apr. 2), and Xavier on (Apr. 26) while making additional trips to Villanova (Mar. 29), Georgetown (Apr. 12), and Denver (Apr. 19).

A couple of late season matches include hosting UC Davis on Apr. 6 and then heading north to Mount Pleasant, Mich. to face Central Michigan on Apr. 16. 

Maggie Zentgraf will return for her third season as the head coach at Butler. She will look to continue to build the program after the team earned their second BIG EAST victory in program history last season.

Four conference teams will qualify for the 2024 BIG EAST Tournament which will take place May 1-3 at Villanova Stadium in Villanova, Pa.
