th-place finish at the Bowling Green Intercollegiate, which served as the first event on the spring portion of the team's schedule.

Kelli Scheck was the top Bulldog on the scoreboard, finishing in a tie for 14
th at 15-over 228. She fired a round of 77 Wednesday after opening the event with scorecards of 76 and 75.
Cybil Stillson's 54-hole total of 233 (+20) was good for a tie for 23
rd.

The event was played in Litchfield Park, Ariz., on the Wigwam Golf Course. The par-71 course was set up at 6,058 yards for the event.

As a team, the Bulldogs registered rounds of 320 and 314 Tuesday before carding a Wednesday 317. Butler's 54-hole team total of 951 (+99) placed them 11th in the team standings. Grand Canyon took the team title at (896; +44); they were followed by Idaho (901; +49) and Ball State (912; +60). The field included a total of 14 teams.

The Bulldogs return to action Feb. 23-25, returning to Arizona for the Rio Verde Invitational. Western Michigan serves as the host of the event.
