ButlerXCTF Wraps Up Competition at the Boston DMR Challenge and Alex Wilson Invitational

The Butler track and field team split up once again with Jesse Hamlin heading back to Boston, Mass. for the BU DMR Challenge on Thursday while the rest of the team remained in the Hoosier state for the Alex Wilson Invitational.

Top Bulldog performances included:

Jesse Hamlin placed fourth in the men's mile against an elite field with a time of 3:56:63
Lauren Doerr claimed the title in the women's 60 meters at 7.73
Cabott Craft won the men's triple jump with a distance of 14.02
Luke Finnegan secured another win this season in the men's 60 meters at 6.82
Gavin Cougle finished second in the men's 200 meters with a time of 21.86
Jocelyn Davis posted a time of 25.47 in the women's 200 meters to place fourth
William Cuthbertson earned fourth in the men's 800 meters at 1:50.27

The Bulldogs will be back in action next week for the BIG EAST Indoor Championships from Feb. 24-24 in Chicago, Ill.
