Bulldog Bits:
- Maggie Zentgraf is in her second season as head coach for the Bulldogs. Zentgraf is a former member of the Notre Dame women's lacrosse team. Zentgraf previously coached at Division III Lake Forest, going 11-4 in the program's first-ever season.
- The Bulldogs are currently 1-2 for the season after facing a close 17-16 loss to Vanderbilt on Wednesday.
- In Wednesday's loss, senior midfielder Leah Rubino accounted for five goals. Rubino currently leads the team with 15 goals.
- Sophomore attacker Luci Selander returned to action for the Bulldogs recording four goals against Vanderbilt.
- Goalie Caroline Smith accounted for 12 saves in goal and four ground balls on Wednesday. Smith has accumulated 30 saves in goal thus far this season.
- Assistant Coach McKenna Rushford is a former member of the Cincinnati lacrosse team who helped lead the program to their winningest season in school history.
Scouting Cincinnati:
- The Cincinnati Bearcats are led by Gina Thomas (Oliver), who is in her 12th season with the program.
- Cincinnati is 5-0 all time over the Bulldogs.
- The Bearcats are currently members of the American Athletic Conference and stand 1-2 thus far on the season.
- In the Bearcats last match, they defeated Robert Morris 15-0 for their first win of the season. The Bearcats will take on Central Michigan before heading to Butler.
- Sophomore Camryn Callaghan currently leads the program with 13 goals. Callaghan was just named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll for the second week in row for the Bearcats.
