The Butler men's tennis program fell 5-2 to Wisconsin on Friday afternoon in Madison, Wis. The Bulldogs now sit at 3-9 for the spring season, while the Badgers obtain a 1-8 record.
Sophomore
Nicolas Arts defeated Matthew Fullerton 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 (14-12) in the No. 3 singles spot.
In doubles play,
Alvaro Huete Vadillo and
Rahulniket Konakanchi beat Matthew Fullerton and Michael Minasyan in a 6-3 contest in the No. 1 singles spot. Additionally, Arts and
Borja Miralles defeated Oliver Olsson and Tomas Zlatohlavek in a close 6-4 win at No. 2 singles.
The Bulldogs will stay in Madison, Wis. to take on Denver tomorrow afternoon.
