@ButlerXCTF Wraps Up the Meyo Invitational

SOUTH BEND, IND. — The Butler track and field team sent a small team to Notre Dame for the Meyo Invitational this weekend.

Top performances by the Bulldogs included:

Martin Kovacech made his men's 3000 meter debut for the Bulldogs placing sixth at 8:12.76. Will Minnette followed just behind in eighth at 8:14.85
Abby Olson earned seventh in the women's 5000 meters at 16:42.87
Abby Fostveit collected a pair of ninth place finishes in the women's 600 meters 1:34.30 at and 800-meter open at 2:13.11

The Bulldogs will split up this weekend for the Valentine Invitational in Boston, Mass. and the Marian Indoor Invitational in Indianapolis. Both meets will kick off on Friday, Feb. 9 and will continue into Saturday, Feb. 10.
