Butler closed out a successful showing at the BIG EAST Match Play with another win on Tuesday as the Bulldogs topped DePaul, 5-2.
 
Butler posted a 2-1 team mark over their three matches in the event. The Bulldogs split a pair of Monday matches to open the event, losing to UConn before bouncing back with a win against St. John's.
 
In Tuesday's win over the Blue Demons, Butler got wins from Jack Wilcox, Kenny Leseur, Henry Quinn, Daniel Tanaka, and Will Horne.
 
With his 5&3 result over Artemiy Yalovenko Tuesday, Tanaka capped off a perfect 3-0 weekend. Horne and Quinn posted 2-1 individual records in the two-day event.
 
The match play event took place at the Bear Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach, Fla., which was set up at 7,042 yards. It brought together eight of the BIG EAST's men's golf programs in a unique format to begin the spring portion of the schedule.
 
The Bulldogs return to action Feb. 25-27 at TPC Dorado Beach in Puerto Rico in the Dorado Beach Collegiate hosted by UNC Greensboro.
