Can I Try Out by Sending a Video?Â
Tryout videos are accepted if you live more than 200 miles from Butler University campus. We HIGHLY DISCOURAGE video submission. A video does not show your coachability or your ability to work with the team. We will watch videos after we have evaluated those present. Â
If you choose this option, you will record all videos and submit them in ONE unlisted YouTube link. Please label each video and present in the order below:Â
- Introduction (first/last name, hometown and current school)
- War Song (with standing tuck)
- 5 standing tucks in a row (8-count in between on gym floor)
- Running TumblingÂ
- Most elite stunting you currently haveÂ
Make sure you speak clearly and confidently, label each section correctly, use the best point of view so the judges can see the skill from start to finish including the dismount. Males are not permitted to group stunts. Make sure the skills you are showing are skills you currently have. Â
Links must be emailed to bjamerso@butler.edu & cbonewit@butler.edu no later than April 10.
